Why does Jesus have a different genealogy in Matthew’s gospel than in Luke’s? After the resurrection, why do Matthew’s and Mark’s gospels have Jesus appearing to his disciples in Galilee while in Luke’s and John’s gospels, he appears to them in Judea? And why in one gospel does Jesus say, “whoever is not with me is against me” while in another he says, “whoever is not against us is for us”? It can be kind of confusing. We want to know if the Bible is historically reliable and internally consistent. To get ready, Matthew 28 and John 20.
