The Running Father

This message takes a look at the Prodigal Son story from the standpoint of the father. The meaning of this parable is somewhat diluted when applying our own cultural lenses to it instead of a traditional Middle Eastern (1st century) view. Reexamining this passage from the culture Jesus lived in will open up some new and important insights into forgiveness, fatherhood, and God’s wonderful grace to us. To prepare for the sermon, please read Luke 15: 11-32.
