Back in the first century, the believers in Jesus met regularly in homes to share a meal, be family to each other, and learn how to live this New Life. They learned the scriptures. They remembered what Jesus said and did. They read letters from the apostles. And still today all over the world, Christ-followers are gathering in homes--sometimes secretly and under threat of persecution--to be fed by God’s Word. This Sunday we’ll be looking at Romans 16:3-5; 15:4-6; and Philemon 1-2.
I was not at Church September 6th. Just watched the Sermon. Thank you Pastor Todd & Trevor for making this a possibility.
Right now I'm reading & journaling 'The Purpose Driven Life' by Rick Warren with a seeker. This sermon pertains to some of our discussion which was just because you show up at Church every Sunday doesn't mean you are Christ Follower or even a believer (not sure if Christ Follower & believer are the same or not) for that matter.
Thank you for another wonderful sermon Pastor Todd!
